We deliver premium tequila across Hong Kong with care and discretion. All deliveries are made in secure, discreet packaging. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Delivery Coverage

We currently deliver to all areas within Hong Kong, including:

  • Hong Kong Island — All districts including Central, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, Kennedy Town, Aberdeen, Repulse Bay, Stanley, and surrounding areas
  • Kowloon — All districts including Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon City, Kwun Tong, Sham Shui Po, and surrounding areas
  • New Territories — Including Sha Tin, Tai Po, Sai Kung, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, North District, Tsuen Wan, and surrounding areas
  • Outlying Islands — Lantau Island, Lamma Island, Cheung Chau, and other islands (please contact us to arrange — additional time and charges may apply)

We do not currently offer international shipping. All orders must be delivered within Hong Kong.

2. Delivery Timeframes

We aim to deliver all in-stock orders within 48 hours of order confirmation. Our team will contact you via WhatsApp to confirm your delivery slot.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control including weather, public holidays, and traffic conditions. We will notify you promptly if there is any delay.

3. Age Verification on Delivery

In compliance with the Dutiable Commodities Ordinance (Cap. 109), all deliveries are subject to age verification:

  • The recipient must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Our delivery personnel may request valid photo ID (HKID card, passport, or driver's licence) to verify age.
  • If the recipient cannot prove they are aged 18 or over, or if no adult is available to receive the delivery, we will not complete the delivery.
  • In such cases, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. If redelivery is not possible, a refund will be issued less any applicable delivery charges.
  • Alcohol must not be delivered to or accepted by a minor under any circumstances.

4. Delivery Process

  1. Order Placed — You place your order and complete payment online.
  2. Order Confirmed — You receive a confirmation email and our team will WhatsApp you to confirm details and arrange delivery.
  3. Dispatch — Your order is carefully packed in secure packaging with original gift box.
  4. Delivery — Our delivery team will contact you when they are on the way. Please ensure someone aged 18 or over is available to receive the order.
  5. Receipt — Upon delivery, please inspect your order and report any damage or discrepancies immediately.

5. Packaging

All orders are delivered in secure packaging with the original brand gift box included where applicable. We take great care to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition.

  • Bottles are individually wrapped and protected to prevent breakage in transit.
  • Packaging is discreet — external packaging does not display the contents or value of the order.
  • Gift wrapping or personalised notes can be arranged — please include your request in the Delivery Notes field at checkout or contact us directly.

6. Failed or Missed Deliveries

  • If we are unable to complete a delivery (e.g. no adult at home, incorrect address, access denied), we will contact you via WhatsApp and email to arrange redelivery.
  • A redelivery fee may apply for second or subsequent delivery attempts.
  • If we are unable to deliver after two attempts, we will contact you to arrange an alternative. If no resolution is reached within 7 days, the order may be cancelled and a refund issued less delivery charges.
  • We are not liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

7. Damaged Goods in Transit

We take every precaution to ensure your order arrives safely. In the unlikely event of damage during delivery:

  • Please inspect your order upon receipt before signing or accepting.
  • If damage is visible, please take photographs immediately and refuse the delivery, noting the damage with the delivery person.
  • Report any damage to us within 24 hours of delivery by emailing hello@hkdrinks.shop with photographs.
  • We will arrange a replacement or refund for damaged items as quickly as possible — please refer to our Returns Policy.

8. Public Holidays & Special Periods

Delivery services may be affected during Hong Kong Public Holidays and periods of exceptionally high demand (e.g. Lunar New Year, Christmas). During these periods:

  • Delivery times may be extended beyond our standard 48-hour window.
  • We will communicate any anticipated delays clearly at the time of ordering.
  • Orders placed during or immediately before public holidays will be processed on the next available business day.

9. Risk & Title

Risk of loss and title for products purchased from HK Drinks pass to you upon delivery. Once our delivery team has handed over the goods to an adult recipient at the specified address, responsibility for the products transfers to you.
