The Philosophy
Kentucky Limestone.
Deep Char Oak.
Wild Turkey is made in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, in the hills above the Kentucky River, where limestone-filtered water and deep-charred American oak barrels have shaped the house style for generations. Bold, sweet and unhurried, it is bourbon made to be tasted rather than rushed.
Wild Turkey is one of Kentucky’s most recognisable bourbon houses, and Master’s Keep is where the distillery sets its boldest work aside.
The distillery sits in the Kentucky hills and draws on the limestone-filtered water that defines so much of the state's whiskey. Bourbon is distilled from a grain mash, laid down in new charred American oak and left to develop in the quiet of a Kentucky warehouse.
Master's Keep is the distillery's limited annual series, a set of releases that let the blending team work with unusual grain bills, cask selections and maturation. Each bottling stands slightly apart from the core range, which is exactly the point.
This selection brings three of those releases together: Cornerstone, built around rye for a spice-led profile; Unforgotten, a deeper and more richly wooded bourbon; and Master's Keep One, a full-bodied expression of the house's signature boldness.
